“Entonces se les aparecieron lenguas como de fuego, que se separaron y se posaron sobre cada uno de ellos. Y fueron todos llenos del Espíritu Santo y comenzaron a hablar en diferentes lenguas, según el Espíritu les permitía proclamar”.

El primero de los siete sacramentos y la “puerta” que da acceso a los demás sacramentos. El bautismo es el primer y principal sacramento del perdón de los pecados porque nos une con Cristo, que murió por nuestros pecados y resucitó para nuestra justificación. El Bautismo, la Confirmación y la Eucaristía constituyen los “sacramentos de iniciación” por los cuales un creyente recibe la remisión del pecado original y personal, comienza una nueva vida en Cristo y el Espíritu Santo y es incorporado a la Iglesia, Cuerpo de Cristo.
