On Friday, St. John the Baptist’s K-1st Religious Education class visited the Johnstown Police Department. During one of their recent religious education classes, the kids made gift bags for each of the police officers to thank them for their service and dedication to our community. The kids took time on Friday to visit with one of the officers and leave a gift bag on each officer’s desk. The kids even got a special tour of the police station and one of the officer’s vehicles! Deacon Michael also gave the police department a special blessing. Fr. Juan asked each of the kids to keep the entire police department in their prayers by praying an Our Father for the officers each night before going to bed.
